"I loved the course and the destination, but my #1 takeaway from this event is how supportive, encouraging, and well-organized everyone associated with the event was! From packet pickup to the finish line party, all the volunteers and staff were so friendly and encouraging and really created a great atmosphere for the entire event. ~ 2014 participant
"Really great race. It's hard to believe you've only been doing this for 5 years. Parking, transportation, water stops, packet pickup - they were all among the best races I've run. And I really appreciate your work w/ Dare County schools and the Outer Banks Relief Foundation. Great job!" ~ 2014 participant
"I run a lot of races every year. Your event is well organized, the finisher medals are unique, the other swags are pretty nice, the tech shirt and cotton shirt are outstanding, the post race party is fun and the course is beautiful. The volunteers were some of the most enthusiastic I've ever seen and everyone that I encountered was pleasent, helpful and courteous. This was truly a well organized, professional and fun event. I will recommend it to all of my running friends." ~ Ron P. 2013 Flying Pirate participant
